David Dastmalchian, known for his roles in films such as "The Suicide Squad" and "Ant-Man," has opened up about his experience returning to the "Cabin Fever" franchise for its 2016 reboot. The actor, who played the role of Dennis in the original 2002 film, said that the opportunity to revisit the character was a "peak experience" in his career.
In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, Dastmalchian shared his thoughts on the reboot, which was directed by Travis Zariwny and stars Gage Golightly, Samuel Davis, and Matthew Daddario.
"It was a really special experience for me to go back to the world of 'Cabin Fever,'" Dastmalchian said. "The original film is such a cult classic, and it has a very special place in my heart. To be able to revisit that world and play Dennis again was a dream come true."
Dastmalchian also praised the work of Zariwny and the cast and crew of the reboot.
"Travis did an amazing job with the film," Dastmalchian said. "He really captured the spirit of the original while also bringing his own unique vision to the story. And the cast and crew were all so talented and passionate about the project. It was a really great experience all around."
